Missions![]() WEAG is a missions church! We are passionate about people using their gifts and talents to meet needs in practical ways in and around our city, our nation, and our world. Join us as we prayerfully consider what God would have us join Him in for the upcoming 2012 season.

New Guidelines for Missions Trip for 2012!!!
In order to register for an international team in 2012 we are now requiring a copy of your passport and your deposit when you turn in your application. Changing travel policies requiring passport info for ticket bookings and visas have made this necessary in order to purchase tickets in a timely manner and apply for visas. In addition, many countries have different policies of acceptable passport expiration dates. Apply now for your passport so you can be ready to make your application for a team and avoid expedition fees.
+ Our WEAG Mission Teams are filling up quickly. Bahamas and Germany both have waiting
lists. The Baltimore Men's team, Turkey and Bolivia projects still have openings. Help us get
the lowest prices possible on airline tickets by getting your application in today for any of our
summer or fall projects. E-mail Cindy with questions on any of our mission trips.
+ We will continue to collect your change throughout the year for the Well Projects. There
are large water bottles in the foyer so that you can bring your donations in weekly or you
can continue to fill up bags and smaller bottles at home. A year’s worth of change would
be a huge blessing to another global community!
+ Faith Promise is a separate tithe that goes solely to support our missionaries/ministries.
Please return your Faith Promise cards, even if your commitment is going to remain the
same as 2011, so we can make decisions on missionary support based on this commitment.
Each year we form a new database from the information gathered on the cards.
+ Join Richmond Justice Initiative for a worldwide evening of prayer and celebration for
Freedom Sunday, February 26, 7-830 PM at Walnut Grove Baptist Church. Calling all of

While everyone isn’t called to go into full time missions service, we can support those that do. Currently, WEAGers support 121 full time missionaries through prayer and finances of $40,000 per month. Many of the teams that we send work with our own homegrown missionaries in countries around the world. By combining our finances, taking advantage of convenient air travel and offering ministry opportunities within people’s time schedules, we hope there are places for every WEAGer to fulfill the call of the Great Commission. We invite you to call or email us to sign up or ask questions – we would love to hear from you.
We would love to hear from you! |
