Drama Academy

In the spring and summer, the Drama Academy offers a variety of classes for children, youth and adults.  Classes are offered in both traditional and improvisational acting and in dramatic technique as it relates to vocal and dance performance within the context of musical theatre production.  Also, from time to time, training is offered in various areas related to technical theatre work.

Throughout the Fall, Drama Academy classes will be curtailed in order to lend our talents and attention fully to support to our annual Christmas production, Glorious Christmas Nights. Hundreds of cast and crew are needed to fill a variety of on-stage, backstage and technical support roles in this Broadway-style show. We’d love to have you join with us in this Christmas ministry outreach to the Richmond-Area Community and beyond. The plans for this year’s production will be presented at our “GCN Kick-off” scheduled for Thursday, September 2, 2010.
