Thinking of Visiting?

FIRST TIME VISITORS

Welcome to West End Assembly of God also known as WEAG! We’re so glad you visited our website today, and we hope you’ll visit in person soon. Here are answers to some of the most common questions people ask before coming to WEAG.

What can I expect when I visit?

We hope you'll feel warmly welcomed! The WEAG family is multi-generational, with a mixture of many ethnic backgrounds. Dress tends to be business casual, but there's always a range from ties to jeans. We offer a nursery and age appropriate options for your children.

 When are worship services?

Sanctuary Service - 9:30-10:45 AM Sunday in the main Sanctuary.  This is a celebratory service with worship-leading choir and band.

Gym Services - 9:30–10:45 AM & 11:15–12:30 PM Sunday in the gym. This is a relaxed service with band-driven worship.

Be sure to allow a few extra minutes to park and check in young children. Greeters and Ushers are at our doors and our Zone Reps are in our hallways to answer questions and show you to our Guest Welcome Center and child check in locations.

How will I meet people in such a big church?

There are tons of opportunities to meet people and get involved in small groups and activities at WEAG. To meet other newcomers and WEAG  pastors, drop by the Guest Welcome Center for a bagel and cup of joe. The Guest Welcome center is located between the sanctuary and the gym and is a great place to ask questions, get more information about WEAG ministries, and meet other newcomers.

 Where is WEAG?

We are located at 401 N. Parham Road in the far West End of Richmond. The closest main intersection is Parham Road and Patterson Avenue.  Need directions

What do you offer for my children?

We provide a nursery for newborns to 3 years old.  There are Sunday School classes for children of every age, plus a program for youth on Sundays at 9:30. At 11:15 we offer a Kids Church for students up to Grade 5.  Plan a few extra minutes to check-in your children at the Guest Welcome Center.  Greeters there will help you register your children and locate their classrooms.  If you're a self-service kind of person, please review our procedures for securely checking in your children.  For more, check out the Family Life page.

What if I have a question once I'm at WEAG?

If you have questions or need help finding your way around at any time, look for an Usher or Zone Rep wearing a nametag, they can help you.

If you want to submit a prayer request, ask questions or learn more about WEAG and our ministries, be sure to fill out a communication card (located on the seat in front of you) and someone will contact you.
